Fees, Invoices, and Payments
SELARL MAB LAWYERS invoices its fees in accordance with the complexity, size and nature of the file, as is necessary and as it is commonly done in the legal profession. Fees, invoicing methods and payment conditions are provided for in the engagement agreement. Payment may be required in advance and according to conditions agreed upon by the parties. Payments are accepted by way of bank transfer, check or other payment method, as may be agreed to at the time of engagement. Late payments may result in interest or administrative fees pursuant to the provisions of the engagement agreement. All fee-related discussions are held openly and in writing.
Cancellation and Refund Policy – Termination of Services
Clients may terminate their retainer with SELARL MAB LAWYERS at any moment upon written notice. The Firm may also terminate its retainer, for cause such as violation of these terms, failure to cooperate and/or failure to pay fees. The client will be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date. Refunds, if any, of the retainer will be given in accordance with the terms spelled out in the engagement letter or as otherwise required by law.
Limitation of Liability
SELARL MAB LAWYERS use their best efforts to provide legal services that are efficient and effective. In no event shall the firm and its employees be liable for the following damages:
